Transfer Centrifuge Pump

A centrifugal pump, also known as a centrifuge pump, is a mechanical device used to move fluids by converting rotational kinetic energy into hydrodynamic energy. It is one of the most common types of pumps used in various industries and applications.

The basic principle of a centrifugal pump involves an impeller that rotates rapidly within a casing. The impeller consists of curved blades or vanes that accelerate the fluid radially outward from the center of the impeller. As the fluid moves through the impeller, it gains kinetic energy and is pushed into the volute casing.

Inside the volute casing, the high-velocity fluid slows down and converts its kinetic energy into pressure energy. The fluid then exits the pump through a discharge outlet. The rotational motion of the impeller creates a centrifugal force, hence the name "centrifugal pump."

Centrifugal pumps are used in various applications, including water supply systems, irrigation, wastewater treatment, oil refineries, chemical plants, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, and many others. They are known for their efficiency, simplicity, and ability to handle a wide range of flow rates and pressures.
