Batch Pasteurizer Machine For Milk
A batch pasteurizer machine is a device used to pasteurize milk or other liquids in small batches. It typically consists of a large stainless steel vat or tank with heating elements, a temperature control system, and a stirring mechanism. The milk or liquid is placed into the vat, and the machine heats it to a specific temperature, typically around 145-149°F (63-65°C), and holds it at that temperature for a set period of time, typically around 30 minutes. This process destroys any harmful bacteria that may be present in the milk while still preserving its nutritional properties.
After the milk has been pasteurized, it is usually rapidly cooled to a safe temperature and then bottled or processed further. Batch pasteurizers are often used by small-scale dairy farmers, artisanal cheesemakers, and other producers of dairy products who need to pasteurize small batches of milk but do not require the high-capacity and expense of larger, automated pasteurization systems. The use of a batch pasteurizer can help ensure the safety and quality of the milk, as well as meet regulatory requirements for pasteurization.
